Ginger Garlic Paste (Ginger Garlic Masala)

In many of my recipes you’ve  probably  noticed  i use a chilli garlic  paste or a ginger garlic masala .  It is the base of many indian  recipes and i always keep a spare tub in the freezer

I’ve found this super easy recipe  to make your  own at home!

•1 cup ground red chillies
•1/2 cup ground fresh ginger
•1/4 cup ground fresh garlic

I suggest  you buy dried whole red chilli, soak them in water for about an hour or until  soft.  Then remove the excess  water and liquidise with a little water if necessary .

Thereafter  mix together  with your ginger and garlic.

Add a little oil  to keep the mixture moist. This keeps well in the fridge  or freezer.
